The role of the attachment relation in the pathogenesis of auditory hallucinations – literature overview

Objective: The purpose of the article is to provide an overview literature concerning role attachment relation in pathogenesis auditory hallucinations. holistically integrates knowledge about with cognitive and biological factors. Materials method: was compiled using following databases: EBSCO, PsycINFO, PubMed, Google Scholar. databases were searched keywords: „secure”, „disorganized”, „epigenetic”, „genetic”, „auditory hallucinations” term „monoaminergic system”. These words combined „attachment style”. Results: analysis suggests that neurobiological factors mediate pathomechamism affiliating traumatic experience hallucinations include: dysregulation within monoaminergic systems, atrophy temporal areas distortions such as source monitoring errors negative automatic thoughts. Discussion conclusions: Cognitive dysfunctions along hereditary genetic susceptibility may constitute distorting correct interpretation intrusions relational experience.
